SSS Kelpies have been bred for the past ten years to be cowdogs, with strong heading instincts, natural ability to hold stock and willingness to work with their owners. They are from lines imported from Australia and have been developed in the U.S. with strict evaluation and culling for strength on cattle. Extensive pedigrees are available, with notes on ability and personality. Pups are available occasionally, with started dogs infrequently. Breeding is done carefully, with planning given to traits being merged. Strength on cattle is first in importance, along with the desire to "head" or control the stock. A calm, quiet working manner, with efficient movement is of utmost importance. Pups are guaranteed to work. All are registered with the North American Australian Kelpie Association. She has the strong heading instinct that brings back stock from wherever they are. She is a calm natured dog and passes her common sense on to her pups. !!! She has a natural gathering instinct, a hard nose bite, and is biddable. Her sire is an extremely tough cow dog, and her dam is a confident worker. She has good bone and feet. SSS Annie(3/98) (Urricelqui's Bullet x Buchanan's Black Bess) Annie (Sister) is owned by Craig Record in OR. She is a tough bitch, has been shown in several large cowdog trials and done very well. SSS Babe(3/98) (Urricelqui's Bullet x Buchanan's Black Bess) Babe is a very natural worker - She's a wirey, strong female, very intense and is maturing into a dependable partner.
